Kelly Sweeney Hite
A 1990 graduate of the University of Richmond Law School, Ms. Hite has practiced law in the Northern Virginia area for almost 18 years and has focused her practice exclusively in the area of family law since 1994. A former partner of McQuade & Hite, P.L.L.C. in Old Town Alexandria, Ms. Hite opened the Law Offices of Kelly S. Hite, PLLC on May 1, 2006. An AV peer review rated (through Martindale Hubbell) attorney, Ms. Hite currently serves on the Fairfax Bar Association Board of Directors (2007 - ). She previously served as the Co-Chair of the Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court Committee for the Fairfax Bar Association (2004-2006), as Co-Chair for the Judicial Screening Committee for the Virginia Women Attorneys Association (2005-2006), as President of the Northern Virginia Chapter of the Virginia Women Attorneys Association (2002-2003), as Chair of the Family Law Section of the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association (2002-2003), and on the Board of Directors for Legal Services of Northern Virginia (1998-2000). She is also a court selected neutral case evaluator for the Fairfax County Circuit Court and a court appointed conciliator for the Fairfax County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court. Ms. Hite has been trained in collaborative law.
